No straps, ropes or stays

Traditional Biminis often get in the way with poles, ropes and straps. The KingFisher Bimini takes a new approach with an A-frame design that gives you clear access around the boat, strong aluminium construction for durability, and quick DIY setup. Built for Australian waters, it’s the canopy that makes boating simpler and more enjoyable.

How Does It Work?

Many anglers and boaties are frustrated with the design of traditional biminis with poles, stays, ropes and straps. Using years of know-how and experience the KingFisher Bimini was dreamt up, designed and engineered for the testing Australian conditions.

What Size Fits My Boat?

KingFisher Bimini’s come in four different models or sizes to suit most recreational boats. The length and height of all 4 models is the same at 2.8m and 1.4m respectively with a clearance of 1.06m between the gunwale and bimini frame.

Installation

Installation can be done by a home handyman with access to a few basic tools and a little bit of know how.

Setup & Stowing

Setting the Kingfisher Bimini up is really very easy and can be done on the water by one person in less than a minute. Everything is designed to make it easy for you. When the KingFisher is folded up fully in the vertical position, the locking pins can be quickly and easily removed

Speed Test

Most people are time poor so when we do get the chance to get on the water and enjoy ourself, we don’t want to have to waste time going slower than we should because of our bimini!

About Kingfisher Bimini

Our Story

KingFisher Biminis were dreamt up, designed, and engineered for the testing Australian conditions. The creators, Grant & Phil, have over 70 years of canvas and sailmaking experience between them and, as avid anglers, were frustrated with the traditional design of Bimini tops. Many of their customers also wanted a Bimini that would provide unrestricted access around the boat, but not have to install a custom made, and very expensive, permanent structure on their boat.
